Huron Float 7-30

Postby taley » Fri Jul 31, 2015 7:23 am

Did an evening float last night with a friend of mine in the book water. Only saw one other car out in the usual parking spots. The water was lower but definitely had a slight stain to it, but overall the river looked awesome. The fishing was pretty slow in the beginning with some different streamers we were trying. Put a popper on as the light faded and we pulled a couple in, all decent fish; by no means a record night.

We cruised by some prime Hex spots, not a Hex in sight.

Anyway anybody been fishing?

Glad to hear you got out for a fish. I plan on hitting the river tonight. This will be my first fish this year and I am really hoping to run in to a hatch near dusk. I'll report tomorrow on my luck (or lack thereof!).
